Raytown High School debate results

The Raytown High School Varsity Speech and Debate team Blue Jays attended the Springfield Parkview Tournament on January 24 and 25th. Top finishers for RHS were Emma Givens, who reached Semifinals of Dramatic Interpretation, Claire Robinson, who advanced to the Supersession of Student Congress, and Tamela Hill, who finished 4th place in Lincoln-Douglas Debate. 

The novice debaters competed at TrumanHigh School.  Top finishers were:  Sebastian Mann, 7th place, Evalynn Lomax, 8th place, and Joshua Beary, 9th place all in Lincoln Douglas Debate; Shekinah Carr with Aarnisha Howard, 3rd place, Marissa Knorr with Zuri Martinez, 4th place, and Doyne Dodd with Jalessa Tayltor, 7th place, all in Public Forum Debate; Jordan Atkins with Israel Hanke, 2nd place in policy debate; Romeo Bagunu, 4th place in Storytelling, and Braden Best, 1st place in Humorous Interpretation.
