Breakfast for Harry
Posted by Michael Downing in Charity, Events, Organizations, Police & Crime
Harry Stone, aged 60, was gunned down and killed while jogging near his Raytown home on May 13, 2012, Mother’s Day. There has not been an arrest in his homicide but the Stone family is hoping to change that by raising the reward money.
Harry’s church, St. Luke’s United Methodist, at James A. Reed and Bannister Roads (South Kansas City) is hosting a Country Breakfast on Saturday, August 4 from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, cereal and more for just $3.00 per person. For more information contact the church office at 816-763-8444.
All profits from this event will be donated in Harry’s name to the TIPS Hotline to encourage those who have information about a crime to come forward. Help spread the word and bring some hungry and generous friends.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers Greater Kansas City TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477), TIPS may also be submitted electronically at KCcrimestoppers.com, or by texting TIP452 and your information to 274637 (CRIMES). All information is anonymous.
