Ann Weaver and Dianne Saltzmann, teachers from Little Blue Elementary in the Raytown School District, have been selected as Most Valuable Teachers by Pearson Science and Humanities for their work in the teaching of science.

Weaver and Saltzmann will be guests of Pearson at the National Science Teachers Association Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana in late March. Teachers from all grade levels, kindergarten through college, will be represented at the conference, sharing ideas about the teaching of science.

Weaver and Saltzmann were recognized by Pearson for their superior efforts in the teaching of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
