2nd Bank Robbed in Raytown Today

The Raytown Police responded to the 6200 block of Raytown Road, on 04-24-14, at about 3:15 PM, on a reported bank robbery. Witnesses told police that two men entered the UMB Bank and gave the teller a demand note. The men then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

One of the men was described as a black male of unknown age, about 6’1”, weighing around 220 pounds, with a beard and green or hazel eyes. He was wearing green safety glasses and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers ball cap.

The second man could only be described as weighing 190 pounds and about 6’1”. He was wearing a ball cap with an unknown logo and white or light gray sweatpants.

There was a threat of a weapon but no weapon was displayed. No one was injured during the robbery. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Tips Hotline at 474-TIPS.
