3 Robbed at Gun Point While Walking in Raytown

Raytown Police responded in the 5800 block of Kentucky, last Saturday evening (09/17/11) at 8:46 p.m. to investigate a report of a robbery. Five suspect’s approached the victims as they were walking the neighborhood near 59th and Kentucky Ave. They confronted the three victims, and one of the suspects displayed a handgun demanding they hand over their property. After taking money, cell phone and wallet, the suspects left west on 59th Street. No shots were fired and one minor injury was reported. Only three of the suspects could be vaguely described. All three wore “hoodies” and baggy clothes. The first suspect was a black man, about 5’10 or 11” tall, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt; second suspect was described as a black man, about 5’1o” tall or shorter, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt; and the third suspect was described as a black man, about 6’01” tall, wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt.
