69-year-old Raytown man charged with assault

On 10-26-2011 at approximately 1444 hours, Officers of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department were dispatched to 7800 E. US 40 Hwy, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri in regard to an outside disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with Victim #1 who stated he observed a male later identified as Charles C. Buczinski, W/M, 09-22-1942, breaking out the windows of his son’s vehicle, a 2001 Red Chevrolet Suburban. Victim #1 stated he attempted to confront Buezinski and Buezinski started hitting him with a baseball bat. Officers located Buczinski at the scene where they took him into custody without further incident. Officers further observed a baseball bat and major damage to the above mentioned vehicle.

Buzinski admitted he broke out the windows of a Red Chevrolet Suburban, but denied striking anyone with the baseball bat.
