Ruby Vinke named support staff employee of the year by Raytown School District

Ruby Vinke, from the Raytown South High cafeteria staff, was named the Raytown District Support Staff Employee of the Year at the annual announcement breakfast. Vinke has been with the District for 34 and ½ years. Her children, Jeff and Stacy, are Raytown South High graduates. Vinke’s award was announced following principal and director introductions of all 21 nominees.

Vinke’s co-worker Emily Stone describes her as a, “spirited co-worker who smiles and laughs her way through the days, making everyone around her smile as well.” From Vinke’s own application, she says, “I wish I could thank the students for letting me be a part of their lives”

Vinke will be speaking to staff at the annual back to school Convocation next August.
