Alleged Rape at Raytown Middle School

A 13 year old Raytown Middle School Student reported that she was raped by a 15 year old male student at about noon on Feb 27th of this year. A press conference is scheduled for later today.

District Superintendent Dr. Allan Markley has released the following statement.

We have a police report of an alleged rape and are cooperating with the police as they investigate. When the police have made their findings and if the allegations are true, we will handle discipline in accordance with board policy and state laws. We take allegation like this very seriously.
