On 10/03/10 at 6:20 AM Raytown Officers responded to Consentino’s Apple Market in the 7500 block of Raytown Road on an armed robbery.  On 10/03/10 at about 6:00 AM the store was open for business and an unknown race light complected male, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a mask similar to a paintball mask, armed with a handgun approached an employee and pointed the gun at the employee and told her to come toward him.  At one point it appeared that the first suspect holstered his handgun in some type of a belt holster.  A second suspect described as a black male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt pulled up around his head also entered the store.  The second suspect was armed with a pistol gripped long gun, possibly a shotgun.  The suspects took the employee and assistant manager to the customer service booth where they were bound with hands behind their backs with straps or ties brought by the suspects.  The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store safe and left the store on foot running in a northwesterly direction.  The suspects possibly entered a small white unknown make or year vehicle and left the area.  There were no shots fired and no one was injured during the robbery.  The robbery and possible suspect vehicle were recorded on video.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
