Assault at 350 Hwy and Blue Ridge Blvd.

PRESS RELEASE
 

 Subject: Assault at 350 Hwy and Blue Ridge Blvd. 

Date: 06-17-10 

At 6:31 A.M., officers responded to the area of 350 Hwy and Blue Ridge Blvd.  It was reported that a motorist traveling westbound on 350 Hwy had his windshield broken by a rock thrown from the Blue Ridge Blvd. bridge over 350 Hwy.  The motorist was not injured.  He said the rock was thrown by a juvenile that was walking on the bridge with several other juveniles.  Five juveniles and one adult were contacted in the area.  One of the juveniles stopped was identified by the victim as the person that threw the rock.  That juvenile was detained by the Raytown Police for assault and later transported to the Jackson County Juvenile Justice Center.
