Bark In the Park

The ROC Fitness Center’s largest outreach event, Bark in the Park, was a howling success on September 10. We were at Henry C. Kritser Park, at 75th & Westridge. Members from the community were invited to this free event to come together for a morning of fun with fellow dog lovers and families. God was gracious when he kept it from raining cats & dogs as we would hate to step in a poodle. KC Wolf stole the show like a dog at a flea circus. I’m not certain, but I thought I heard a cowboy mention he was going to soon adopt a dachshund so he could get a long little doggie.

On the more serious side, the staff and volunteers of the ROC Fitness Center pray that our community saw the love of Christ through the representation of First Baptist Raytown, and were also inspired to keep physical wellness a part of their lives.

We hope you will join us next year for our 3rd annual event!
