Sutherland Lumber Company is in the process of purchasing the former Wal-Mart building at 6709 Blue Ridge Boulevard. The project will allow Sutherland Lumber Company to fully occupy the 90,000 square foot building for retail sales. On behalf of the current property owner (Wal-Mart), Sutherland Lumber Company has petitioned the City of Raytown to establish the Raytown Crossing Community Improvement District.
