Board of Aldermen meeting on March 18th 2014

The Board of Aldermen meeting on 3/18/2014 was uneventful until item #6 came up for a first reading. Item #6 is an agreement with MARC (Mid America Regional Council) for Raytown to pay $371.29 as Raytown’s share to take aerial photos of the city.  Alderwoman Emerson raised concerns that these photos could be used against the citizens of Raytown by government agencies and cited an event in St. Louis in 2012 where tanks did a training exercise there.
