Business Robbed by Threat of Physical Violence

Raytown Police responded to a report of a Robbery at a business in the 9300 block of East 350 Hwy., last Thursday (04/28/2011) evening at approximately 9:40 p.m. The suspect approached the clerk and threatened to punch the clerk if the clerk did not give the suspect merchandise and currency. After receiving the items, the suspect left the area on foot. The clerk was not struck, no injuries were reported and no weapon was seen. The suspect was described as a black male, about 6’1” tall, wearing a baseball cap, black hooded jacket, white tee shirt, black shorts and white shoes.
