Gunny sack races, stilts, tug-of-war and marbles are just a few of the time-honored classics. Special crafts projects, such as rope making and tin punching, will give your children a take-home memento to remember for years to come. Every kid is a winner when they participate in an old-fashioned pie eating contest. Old and young alike will be entertained by the Missouri Town Musicians and Dancers. Our year-old ox team will be showing off their learned skills under the command of our drover.
Special this year are morning and afternoon presentations of Dr. Field’s “Good Medicine Show” featuring magic tricks!
In observance of National Trails Day, a special exhibit will provide information about your ever-expanding Jackson County’s Biking and Hiking Trails System.
