Court Upholds State House Districts, Three candidates for Raytown

The Missouri State Supreme Court has finally made a rulling that the State House District map is valid.

Raytown is almost totally in the 28th District now and  three candidates have filed for that seat, one Republican and two Democrats. Ward II Alderman Jim Aziere has filed as a Republican, State Representative Tom McDonald and former Alderman Pat  Reihle have filed as Democratic candidates. Both Aziere and Reihle have run for State legislature in the past.  Aziere lost in the general election and Reihle did not make it past the primary.
