Fire in Apartments on 60th Street

There was a fire at about 8pm on the 9900 block of 60th Street just West of Raytown Road about 1/2 block.  Local residents stated that the fire may have been started by a woman and her daughter(s) playing with sparklers on their balcony. The Fire Chief would only say that the cause was under investigation at this time. At this time three families are displaced from their homes.
