Mayor Bowers Chili Fundraiser

Mayor Bowers day of chili seemed to be successful. While the Yellow Barn was never close to being full, it was 1/3 to 1/2 full for much of the 7 hours that the event ran. If the event was a more normal 1 or 2 hour period, there would have been seating problems.

The event kicked off with Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders praising Mayor Bower and finished with State Representative Gary Cross lending his support. In between there were appearances from multiple politicians :

Tom McDonald – State Representative
Bob Sego – former State Representative
Warren Olsen – Former Raytown ALderman
Randy Rhoads – Mayor Lee’s Summit
Don Reimal – Mayor Independence
Kathy Rose – Mayor Riverside
Carson Ross – Mayor Blue Springs
Jim Aziere – Raytown Alderman
Pat Ertz – Raytown Alderman
Jerry Kinman – former Raytown Alderman
Shane Par-Due – Raytown Alderman
Bill Van Buskirk – Raytown Alderman
