Norfleet students can earn trip to circus

Norfleet Elementary School’s Positive Behavior Support team wanted an incentive for students to get motivated to Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe in all areas.

Principal Lori Kang came up with the idea of taking students who did not have to go to a buddy room or to the recovery room to the Shrine Circus. This idea goes along with the PBS goals of being proactive and helping students make good choices not only in the classroom but in all areas.

The PBS presented the goals to students at an all school assembly which included 3 clowns, who taught students how they could Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe in the classroom, cafeteria, restroom and hallway. Kelly Rohlfsen, Dale Ann Hawkins, and Linda Bettes did a good job as guest clowns.
