Post Season Football honors for Raytown players

Post season high school football honors are being announced, and they include several Raytown Schools athletes. 

Casey McDermott

Raytown South defensive end Junior Casey McDermott was recognized as 1st Team All-State by the Missouri Football Coaches’ Association (MFBCA).  Linebacker Senior Justin Turner was selected to the 2nd Team.  McDermott and Turner were also named 1st Team All-District by the MFBCA.

Senior kick returner Landon James-Wilson was also named 1st Team All-District.   James-Wilson was additionally a selection for 2nd Team All-District at defensive back.  Wide receiver Senior Dyrell Green and quarterback Senior Devin Hannah rounded out 2nd Team All-District selections.  The Cardinals are coached by David Allie.

Raytown athlete Jamie Nix was named 2nd team All-State by the MFBCA on Offensive Line.   Jason Ellison was named 3rd team Defensive Line by the Missouri Football Coaches Association. 

Jake Friebohle and Jordan Jamerson both received Academic All-State Honors for their athletic and academic achievements.  This is Friehbohle’s 2nd consecutive year on the Academic All-State team. 

Nate Dixon was named 1st Team All District Running Back, and Denzel Crawley was name 2nd Team All District Defensive Line.  Additionally Aaron Spradley was named 2nd Team All-District Kicker, and Jake Friebohle was named 2nd Team All District Offensive Line. The Bluejays are coached by Kevin Page.
