Raytown Bank Robbed

Raytown Police were called to the scene of a reported bank robbery at the Bank of America on 63rd St. at about 1:19 p.m. Friday afternoon (09/11/2015). A lone, unshaven, light-complected black man in his thirties, carrying a brown accordion folder passed a note to a teller demanding money. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported. The man was described as having an average build; about 5’ 8” to 5’ 10” tall; wearing wire framed glasses, a Kansas City Chief’s ball cap, and a long sleeved grey hoodie. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has assumed the investigation.
