Raytown Fire District meeting June 25th, 2013 at 6:00 pm

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm.  The meeting was moved to the evening because Barb had auditors in the office at work and could not get away.

The board greeted the visitors (Charlotte Melson and Jeremy Bledsoe).  They approved the agenda for this meeting and approved the minutes from the last meeting.  They discussed and updated several financial issues,  statements and reports.

Old business was briefly touched on an update for the Kansas City dispatch issues.  They believe that the number of KC calls are coming  down, but would need to wait and see how the numbers begin to reflect over a larger time period.  The next meeting with Kansas City is scheduled for July 1, 2013.

The consolidation meeting with the Alderman committee to discuss the Proposal for Raytown EMS consolidation is tentatively scheduled for July 23 at 7 pm.  All the members have not had a chance to confirm. This meeting will be open to the public, but will not be open to public comments.

New business was the first reading of the Adoption of 2012 International Fire Code and International Building Code.

The next RFPD board meeting is scheduled for July 9th at 9 am.

The board adjourned to executive session at 6:46 pm.
