Raytown State Legislator not seated due to unpaid Ethics Commission fines and fees.

 Leonard “Jonas” Hughes IV will not be allowed to take office until he comes up with $19,090 in upaid fines and fees owed to the MIssouri Ethics Commission. The fines were due to missuse of campaign funds and the fees are for not filing campaign reports on time. Raytown has two precincts in the NorthWest corner in Hughes district. Hughes is also running for Mayor of Kansas City Missouri. If he gets seated, this will be his last term in office due to term limits.
