Raytown Tribute to Our Veterans

RAYTOWN, MO, November 7, 2010 — On Sunday, November 7, at 2pm, Raytown will host the third annual Tribute and Thank You to Our Veterans at Raytown Senior High School, 6019 Blue Ridge Boulevard.

The ceremony will feature the Kansas City Metro Men’s Choir, Raytown Community Symphonic Band and a fantastic Color Guard. Dignitaries will spotlight all veterans and there will be a presentation of a memorial wreath in memory of those vets no longer with us. During the social hour following the ceremony, veterans will have the opportunity to record their telling of service highlights on a CD they can take with them.

This is a free public event sponsored by the Raytown Arts Council, Raytown Council on Aging and the Marguerite McNair DAR Chapter. For more information, call Alyse Stoll, 816-353-3593.
