Raytown Woman Robbed of Her Puppy

Raytown Police responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the 10100 block of 80th Street, Raytown, MO., in the evening time of May 1st, 2011, (05-01-2011). Upon investigating the incident it was learned that a 44 year Raytown woman had her boxer puppy taken from her front yard by an unknown woman. The owner of the puppy said that while she was sitting in her front yard an unknown woman approached her and took her puppy, and got into an older Chevrolet pickup truck. The victim attempted to stop the suspect from leaving and in the process she received minor scratches on her arm. The unknown suspect drove off with the puppy still in her possession. Police ask that anyone with information regarding the incident call the TIPS hotline at 474-TIPS
