The Rice-Tremonti Home, Raytown’s link to it’s pioneer heritage invites the public to visit Jackson County’s oldest standing home on weekends this summer. Come visit this historic home build by the Archibald Rice Family in 1844, which quickly became a landmark on the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The Friends of Rice-Tremonti Home have been busy with important upgrades including brand new sidewalks leading to and surrounding the house. Come visit and see how we’ve progressed.
