The squad won the school’s first ever School of Excellence Award for Debate by accumulating 67 rounds of competition.  Only 19 schools nation-wide earned this designation.

Senior Ethan Wilkins also took 2nd place out of over 190 students in Expository speaking, earning a 500.00 scholarship from the University of Western Kentucky.  Senior Garrett Poorman took 7th place in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, an event in which there were over 250 competitors.

Seniors Michael Daniels and Daniel Worthington received an award for placing among the top 30 Public Forum Debate Teams in the nation.
