The Raytown Parks and Recreation Dept. (5912 Lane, 358-4100) will be offering 5th, 6th, & 7th grade girls volleyball on Thursday nights. The league will run for 9 weeks and will cost $55 per person. The start of the winter volleyball season will be September 16th. This league will be played at Robinson Elementary at 67th and Woodson. This is a great recreational level league for girls looking for a fun, but not too competitive, activity, to learn the sport of volleyball and give the girls a leg up on getting experience before trying out for the middle school sponsored team.
