Fire at vacant house probably accidental

At around 2:30 P.M. last Friday (10/14/2011) police and fire department officials were called to the 5400 block of Hardy on a reported grass fire. When they got there they found that the fire had spread to a detached garage. The house at that address was vacant. The fire did not spread to the house. There were no reported injuries. A police report was made when it was suspected that the cause might be suspicious. However, on Tuesday (10-18-2011) police report that the cause was likely accidental.
