More Burger King Fire Photos

Units responded to a commercial structure fire at a fast food restaurant, initial crews reported fire on the outside of the structure and heavy smoke from the roof. Crews were able to confine the fire to the attic of the structure. Additional units from KCFD were requested due to the extreme heat. All firefighters are required by policy to be evaluated by EMS after 20 minutes of work at a fire. One firefighter was initially unable to return to work following this evaluation, however after additional rest and water on the scene their vital signs return to normal and they were cleared to return to work.

Investigators have determined the fire originated outside of the structure, but the exact cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. (from the Raytown Fire Department)
