Tragedy in Local Pool

On Tuesday, June 25^th at 5:12 pm the Raytown Police and EMS were called to the 7900 block of Ditzler for a 2 year old child that was found in a residential pool not breathing. When they arrived they immediately began CPR and Raytown Paramedics transported the child to a local hospital. Raytown EMS was advised that the child was pronounced dead later that evening at the hospital. Police are still investigating but at this time it appears to be a tragic accident.
